Just when you thought I had stopped giving you homework!

Ok guys, so I am going to try to let you see all the things I am seeing while I am overseas! And I am going to give you little activities that you can do during homework group! Hahaha! Just when you thought I had stopped making you do work!

For the first week's blog, I am in England. Your first task is to find Melbourne on a globe or map. Then move your finger all the way to London, England. (10 points for that)

Alright, this first photo is the grave of two really important people to me. You have to write down one thing that these people did that you think made them famous. You have to find out when they were born and when they died. (20 points for both) And for extra points, you have to name all of their children! (20 points!)

Just for fun: At some point today, talk to someone in an English accent!

This next photo is the house of someone really famous! Who is it? (30 points) Hint:Google London's tourist attractions and look at the pictures until they match.

- Did you know that in England they call lollies 'sweets'?

This is a map of London's Underground (train system). It is so amazing that even I can use it without getting lost! I'll give you 30 points if you can name three stations on the Piccadilly line.

I am now standing outside of a really old place called the Tower of London. You have to tell me what this place was used for back in the olden days. (10 points)

Can you name three people that were executed here (30 points) and can you tell me the reason why they were executed? (60 points)

To enter the competition, you have to write out the questions and the answers and give them to Esther to mark. She will keep a tally of the scores and then I will bring home a prize for the winner! Remember, my last stop is Disneyland so the prize will likely be from there!
Bye for this week and remember to tune in for next week! Until then, remember to look after each other and your leaders. Keep the three rules and have loads of fun!
Miss you all and am praying for each of you,
love Gen
